At this time, she uncovered weight lifting and through weight lifting, she gained an understanding that all muscle groups whether big or small were crucial in her road to recovery. After making this discovery, Priscilla earned her certification as a personal trainer to help others overcome their fear of reinjuring themselves as well as building their confidence around fitness. She is a firm believer that everyone should have access to the knowledge and experts that will help them obtain their fitness goals. Tony lettered in three sports in high school- soccer, football, and lacrosse. It was in the dingy high school weight room that he fell in love with weight lifting, but he would not understand how to refine his pursuit of strength until years later. He got my BS in psychology at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. He played soccer in college, and got into performance fitness while lifting weights in off-season training. Over the course of his athletic career, he sustained several broken bones, concussions, and muscle tears, and working with the athletic trainers at his college sparked his interest in physical therapy and sports medicine. He’s now certified in personal training and nutrition coaching, and is considering a career in physical therapy. He enjoys training athletes for performance, but his most rewarding clients are the ones who he can dissuade of the belief that they have lost some ability-whether to injury or age. He’s been coaching since 2017, and his current goal is qualifying for strong first barbell certification. When he’s not pursuing fitness, Tony’s at a recording studio working with artists and podcasters to cut and mix their projects.

Ian is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Bay Area native. His interest in physical therapy began in Santa Barbara when he was working towards his Bachelor’s in Science degree in Biology. At this time, Ian, an avid and active athlete since his teens, sustained several ankle injuries that caused pain and sensitivity that stopped him from running. Previously he was able to run at a five-minute mile pace, so this was a major roadblock for him. It was only with the guidance on exercise progression provided by a physical therapist that he was able to confidently return to running at full capacity. In outpatient orthopedic clinics he saw first-hand the significant impacts physical therapists were making by helping others improve their mobility, movement patterns, and athletic performance. This motivated Ian to pursue a degree and career in physical therapy. At the University of Florida, Ian worked with other DPT students to run a school affiliated clinic offering pro bono physical therapy services to the community. Ian returned to the South Bay to practice and serve the community he considers his own. He has worked with a wide variety of clients, including athletes; weekend warriors; those with neurological, muscular, or bone related conditions; and those with both recent and old surgeries. Ian avidly reviews the latest physical therapy research to provide his patients with treatments that are evidence-based and tailored to be specific to each person’s needs and goals. When not in the clinic, Ian may be found surfing, hiking, running, playing tennis, strumming a guitar, and enjoying time with family and friends.
